Rodent killer is an inexpensive and easy way to prevent damage\u2014and avoid a surprise scare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lowell\u2019s Tip: Keep the Heaters On<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep the heaters running and change the ropes before a cold spell. This prevents the ropes from swelling as quickly and reduces the likelihood of them getting caught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From a Farmer\u2019s Perspective<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Brake, a farmer, shares two tips he uses on his own farm:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain cord cups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a backup heat source ready for especially bitter cold days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Even with the best preparation, breakdowns can still happen. We\u2019re excited to share some updates coming to Horizon that will make managing your farm even more seamless this season and beyond. Here\u2019s what you can look forward to in the next update:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A3\/A4 E-Link Report Fix<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s currently a disruption with A3\/A4 E-Link reports not updating on robot screens. A solution has been found and will be included in the next Horizon update, planned for January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Features in the Next Update<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enhanced Color Differentiation<\/strong>: Improved color contrast in the Milk Quality graph across all screen types.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Improved Horizon Updater<\/strong>: The updated system will include an uninterrupted updater, allowing the app to schedule restarts 15 minutes later instead of forcing an update after 15 seconds.
